In honor of our new project I wanted to do my type journal entries for this week on Adrian Frutiger, the typographer that I have been studying for my T-shirt project. While browsing for different pictures of his fonts I came across a few images that really stood out. The typeface Frutiger was created for airport signs. It had to be very legible and easy to read from far away and also close up at an upward angle. This first entry is a good example of the font and also portrays the purpose it was created for.
